status check
My current project is a collection of stories (or narratives, or memoirs, or whatever the hell you want to call them). Three are finished, one more is close. Four stories, 18K words.
If a story collection should have 40K words, I am 45% finished. If it should have 60K words, I’m 30% home. Some of these initial four have been in development for quite some time, but a large part of that was figuring stuff out for the larger work. Things seem to be moving a lot faster now.
I have 6 more stories that are in draft stage. My goal is to get this collection finished, edited, and online this year, and then kick off the next phase. I think I can do this, as long as I don’t get sidetracked by any minor issues…what should the title of the collection be, do you think?
